BUKIT GUMANG
Hike up to the old temple on the peak of Gumang hill. Just behind Samuh Village in Candidasa. Glorious panoramic views of Amuk Bay & Candidasa. Family groups of friendly monkeys are often encountered on the way.
A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to help
restore the temple.
MOUNT AGUNG
Climb Bali’s highest mountains (3,142 metres) to watch the sunrise. Leave Candidasa by car at around 1 am to Pasar Agung in Selat.. The climb takes approx 3 hours to reach the summit.
Bring plenty of water and warm clothing.
KASTALA - TENGANAN
The Kastala—Tenganan trek takes approx 3 hours.
Starting from Candidasa travel by car to the village of Kastala, where we start our trek. Crossing the Buhu river we follow the path along beautiful rice terraces. Views of Gunung Agung can also be seen. Along the way we can visit villages making traditional crafts.
The trip will end in the Bali Aga village of Tenganan, where the people weave the well know double ikat cloth called Geringsing in which the village is famous for.Unique ceremonies are also held here throughout the year.
